Hey Friends,
I haven't had any time for reading. I've been shopping. My paws are worn off. I'm staying in Victoria on Vancouver island, and it's very nice here. There's no snow and this hotel has all the conveniences of home including internet access. What more could a bear want? I bet you wonder what's in the bag. I'm not telling.

I really like this shot of me. I, know, I hear you say it, I'm pretty handsome with my red ribbon. Wild bears wish for ribbons all the time you know. It's blowing snow in huge drifts outside the door and we are almost holed in. I checked the time all day long, I just sat here waiting for spring. When Bruce came home from work he said I was a silly bear because I need a calendar and not a clock.....what does he know ... How RUDE ...I'm still waiting for spring, so there!

Hello Friends,
I think I have short term memory loss. I didn't want to believe it; but now I do. Today I forgot where my bedroom is. Since I live here almost 24/7 that's pretty shabby! (I got lost coming out of the bathroom.) What's a bear to do? Another great Canadian author that you're gonna love is Maxine Trottier. I love her historical fiction stories, and she has so many other great books. Check out her web page while you're here. Till next time....don't forget I'm here....now... how do I log off.....I've forgotten.

Matteus and I have been having a readers round table discussion (without the table) He said he likes author Eric Carle. That's because I read him a story called Have You Seen my Cat.
Matteus thinks I should phone Eric and ask him to write a story called have you seen my bear.(Matteus thinks I'm his bear....confused muddled feline).

I'm feeling much better now, see? I can even stand on my head--it's a topsy turvy world today. I just finished
reading a book written by
Jan Brett. She is one of my favorite authors.
Jan Brett has some stories about
BEARS. You can click on her name on my blog to visit her web page. See you later--right side up.

I woke up this morning and was
alarmed to find I had an in-grown toenail. I was very worried. It was causing me a lot of
anxiety so I finally had to confide in someone. I told BRUCE. He said, bears like me don't have toenails so I needn't worry. What a
Relief! It seems to me that I can worry about a lot of things. Things that I think are important at the time, but usually everything turns out to be okay in the end. I hope you don't worry needlessly. That's all I can think of now...I have writers block.

These are my two friends. Harley is black and he purrs just like a motor bike. Matteus is grey and he likes to sleep with me while I watch TV. Do you have any furry friends? I'm furry myself, so if you don't have any furry friends, then I'll be your friend.

Hello World, my name is Pj and I'm a bear. Just an ordinary, brown bear, quite plain looking, but I do have a red ribbon around my neck which adds a bit of Pizzaz.
